Let talk about Facebook fan page marketing for a minute and discuss what to do and what not to do. There’s so much speculation out there from people that have never successfully marketed on Facebook so we need to clear a few issues up.
Never market on your Facebook personal page. You’ll be kicked off the network quick if you try those shenanigans. Never spam anyone with offers or links they don’t want.
Use Facebook Ads to drive traffic to a fan page you’ve created. This will help you tremendously. Make sure you have a custom landing page tab, though. You don’t want to miss-out on all of the traffic you’ll be sending. You must capture it!
